NUDE DRAWING AND PAINTING WORKSHOP

Observational painting and working from life.

Trained in the studio tradition, Lisa’s work explores the relationship between observation, pictorial composition, and the materiality of paint.

In her teaching, she focuses on conveying the fundamental principles of drawing and painting: observing the model, understanding light and form, building color, and organizing pictorial space.

A pictorial exploration centered on observational drawing, the construction of color and form, the layering of paint, and the continuity of the pictorial tradition in contemporary practice
