Wax Sculpture Workshop, led by Thibaut SAUVIAT

Thibaut Sauviat proposes a modeling method similar to drawing.
The process is simple: build up the forms from the inside out by analyzing the model’s silhouette at each stage, then be amazed by the result—the forms are spot on!
This is the “profiles” method. 
Anatomical knowledge is merely an added bonus that allows the artist to infuse their gestures with intention. The material—wax—is less intuitive to use than clay but can sometimes be more playful and, above all, more practical; in particular, it allows you to take your work with you.

Drawing and Painting Workshop, by Lisa IZVOZCHIKOVA

Through direct observation of the model, you will learn to observe, analyze, and construct an image by working on proportions, forms, values, light, and color.
This approach is based on practice and the principle of the “first stroke,” where each study becomes an experience of observation and construction.

The workshop is structured around two different long exposures per day so that you can work on color and values without pressure. The work will be done on an easel.

Possible techniques: oil painting, gouache, charcoal, graphite (one or more techniques, depending on what you'd like...!)
