Workshop on drawing from a live model: From the Eye to the Page with Ilan Parienté

Drawing with light; working with solid colors or washes without outlines; understanding volumes and surfaces; understanding the human form. Working with shadows and the unique features of a model. Understanding movement and tension; drawing a moving model. Large-format drawing; developing a free, expressive style. Developing a personal artistic style beyond mere observation of the model. The workshop concludes with a general debriefing and a discussion among participants. All levels. 5 days (30 hours). €350 + materials.
