"Transparency." The first exhibition at the Children's Palace
From June 20, 2025, to August 29, 2027, the Grand Palais invites you to its first “Palais des Enfants” exhibition! It’s the perfect opportunity to spend some quality family time while exploring works of art and scientific experiments.
"Transparence" is the first exhibition at the Grand Palais designed specifically for children, featuring a dedicated space: the Palais des Enfants, an immersive and playful environment where children can learn while having fun.
This new educational experience explores a fascinating theme: what is revealed… or concealed. It brings sculpture, printmaking, and photography into dialogue with the sciences through interactive and sensory installations. From the 19th century to the present day, it offers a remarkable journey through light and transparency.
Visitors will discover immersive works, such as those by Dan Graham and Soo Sunny Park, which are best experienced in a group, as well as more personal and delicate creations by Patrick Neu and Agathe May. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see these fascinating phenomena in a new light.
From glass to light, from works of art to everyday objects, the exhibition invites visitors of all ages to see things in a new light. A visual and sensory adventure for the whole family, blending illusion, clarity, and mystery.
